Frequently Asked Questions
Answers to the questions we hear most often from real estate developers and construction companies exploring document management solutions.
About Capexora's services
Capexora provides document management and archive services specifically for real estate developers and construction companies in Argentina. We organize, digitize and structure the technical, legal and administrative documentation generated by construction and development projects so that your team can find and access any document quickly, securely and from any device.
We work with all document types generated by construction and real estate development projects: architectural and engineering plans, structural calculations, soil studies, municipal permits, environmental approvals, construction contracts, subcontractor agreements, insurance policies, ownership documents, budget records, payment certifications and administrative correspondence. Both physical paper documents and existing digital files are within our scope.
Our office is located in Buenos Aires (Ing. Enrique Butty 275, C1001AFA), and we serve clients across Argentina. For the digitization component, we can arrange collection and return of physical documents. The digital management system is accessible from anywhere in the country with an internet connection.
The timeline depends on the volume of existing documentation and the number of projects involved. A documentation audit and system design phase typically takes one to two weeks. The digitization and migration of existing documents varies based on volume. We provide a specific timeline estimate after the initial consultation and audit.
Yes. We frequently work with companies that have projects in progress. The initial audit identifies what exists and what is missing, and we build the system around the current state of your documentation. There is no requirement to start from a blank slate or a new project.
Access is configured on a role-by-role basis. Each team member is assigned permissions that reflect their function in the project. An architect may have full access to technical drawings but restricted access to financial documents. A project director may have read access across all categories. We configure these permissions during onboarding and can adjust them as your team or project requirements change.
Your documents remain yours at all times. Upon termination of the service, we provide a full export of all digital files organized according to the agreed folder structure. Physical documents that were digitized are returned to you. We do not retain copies of client documentation after service termination.
No. Capexora provides document management and organization services. We classify, organize, digitize and archive documents. We do not provide legal advice, legal interpretation or legal opinions on the content of any document. For legal matters, you should consult a qualified legal professional.
About digitization and the system
We work with all standard document formats including PDF, DWG, DXF, DOCX, XLSX, JPG, PNG, TIFF and others. Scanned documents are produced as high-resolution PDFs. We can accommodate specific format requirements based on your workflow or the requirements of regulatory authorities.
Large-format documents including A1 and A0 architectural drawings are scanned using wide-format scanning equipment. The output is a high-resolution digital file that preserves all detail from the original drawing. These files are then classified and indexed within the project's technical documentation folder alongside related documents.
We design and implement document management systems using a combination of solutions based on your organization's existing infrastructure and preferences. This may involve cloud-based platforms, on-premise systems or hybrid approaches. The specific technology recommendation is part of the system design phase and is based on your team's size, technical capacity and security requirements.
